Twenty-three Fires Set

*Pyro's in the park, doing what he does best: playing with fire. Thankfully, he just brought some matches with him instead of his flamethrower, but he's getting dangerously close to some dry grass. By dangerously close, I mean he's succeeded in setting a small patch ablaze. He doesn't seem terribly concerned with putting it out and just watches it burn; he even lights up another match and drops it on the already burning grass. He hasn't let himself do this in quite some time...someone might want to stop him before it gets too out of control.*

[Due to an upcoming camping event that will be held here later, Coraline decides to visit the park to take a look around beforehand. As she watches some squirrels skittering about, she chances a glance towards a ball of orange flame popping up on the grass, knowing immediately that it shouldn't be there.]

Oh God-!

[She runs over, shouting in alarm.]

HEY! What are you doing?!

*At first, Pyro doesn't even acknowledge Coraline; he's enjoying that fire a bit too much. After a moment, he turns to face her, looking remarkably (and almost disturbingly) calm.*

[Seeing as how the fire was only getting bigger, she starts looking around for anything nearby to put it out. She manages to find some small rocks and tosses a handful at the flame.]

They can move if it gets too close. Most of the grass around here is too green to burn.

[After stamping it out, he looks to Pyro, realizing he's now alone with a guy who apparently likes to start random fires.]

Um. Look, I'm sorry, it's just - it's very dangerous. Someone could get hurt. And I like this park. If I'm going to have to be stuck in this town, I'd like for it to stay in one piece so I have somewhere normal to go, thank you very much.

[Now he's just looking indignant, if not just a little bit pouty.]

*Lucky for Calleo, Pyro left his flamethrower at home.*

It doesn't take that long here. It took a day for a severely damaged house to be fixed, I doubt it'll take longer for this grass to be normal again.
